ShopRite Installs Electric Vehicle Fast Chargers
ShopRite installs electric vehicle fast chargers for convenient grocery shopping with quick charging times.

The ShopRite of Daleville, Pennsylvania, has introduced new electric vehicle fast chargers, providing customers with a convenient way to charge their vehicles while shopping for groceries.
The store unveiled its four 350kW fast chargers from EVgo on July 14, which can simultaneously charge eight electric vehicles.
According to the report, drivers can get a full charge in as little as 15 minutes, depending on the vehicle.
Expanding Access to EV Charging
The installation is part of a broader effort by Wakefern Food Corp. to expand EV charging access across ShopRite locations and support sustainable infrastructure in the communities it serves.
Bracey Supermarkets, a Wakefern member, has served the area since 1974 and owns and operates three ShopRite stores in the region.
Laura Bracey, director of operations for Bracey Supermarkets, said, “We’re excited to bring EVgo fast charging to the ShopRite of Daleville and offer our customers added convenience.”
She added, “We’re always looking for ways to enhance the shopping experience, and fast, reliable EV charging is another way we’re meeting the needs of our community.”
The Bracey family’s commitment to the community is evident in their efforts to provide convenient services, such as the new EVgo fast charging stations, which will cater to the growing number of electric vehicle owners in the area.
Convenient Charging Locations
EVgo has more than 1,200 fast charging stations in 47 states, located at retailers, grocery stores, restaurants, and transportation providers.
According to Marcy Bauer, SVP of network operations at EVgo, “Our work with the ShopRite of Daleville brings fast, dependable charging to a convenient grocery destination, allowing drivers to quickly power up while they shop.”

The new charging stations will likely benefit the local community, particularly those who own electric vehicles and shop at the Store.
For instance, the ability to charge their vehicles quickly while shopping will save them time and make their overall shopping experience more convenient.
The location of the charging stations at the ShopRite of Daleville, situated at 921 Drinker Turnpike, provides easy access for customers who want to charge their vehicles while running errands or shopping for groceries.
A Growing Network of Charging Stations
Wakefern Food Corp., the retailer-owned supermarket cooperative, operates hundreds of ShopRite stores in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, and Maryland.
The company’s efforts to expand EV charging access across its locations will contribute to a growing network of charging stations in the region.
As the demand for electric vehicles continues to grow, the availability of convenient and reliable charging stations will become increasingly important.
The ShopRite of Daleville’s new EVgo fast charging stations are a significant step towards meeting this demand and supporting sustainable infrastructure in the community.
The partnership between Wakefern Food Corp. and EVgo demonstrates a commitment to providing customers with convenient and sustainable solutions, aligning with the company’s goal of enhancing the shopping experience and supporting the communities it serves.
