Massachusetts store adds shipping service

The Shamrock Market in Springfield, Massachusetts, has debuted a Pak Mail shipping service, offering customers a range of shipping options via UPS, FedEx, and the U.S. Postal Service.

This new service, called Pak Mail Express, also provides expert packing, personal mailbox rentals, and copying, printing, and packaging supplies sales.

According to Annex Brands, the franchisor of Pak Mail, this location is the first to be situated inside a convenience store.

The Pak Mail Express location is situated inside a Shamrock Market-branded c-store, which also features a Chester’s Chicken quick-service restaurant.

Prince Patel, the owner of the Shamrock Market, stated that the Pak Mail service officially opened about three months ago.

The addition of shipping and other business services reflects a broader push by convenience retailers to offer nontraditional amenities that can give customers more reasons to spend time in stores.
